Large Backyard is the founding partner behind Riis Beach Cooperative.  RBC currently holds the contract for business operations at Jacob Riis Park, awarded by the National Park Service. We own and operate bars (2) and food concessions (3) across 1 mile of beachfront boardwalk, along with subleasing to an additional 10-15 food and retail vendors.

Riis Park is New York City's premiere beach and has close to a million visitors a summer, and the Jacob Riis Park / Gateway National Recreation Area is the 4th most visited park in the National Park Service system.

Serving fresh poke and island fusion, Edible Island has been a neighborhood staple for the better part of a decade.
